Rubberband put modern cinema to shame

A relatively straight forward films; strong visuals, interviews, and short narratives spliced together to make a rhythmic and playful experience.

What really shines in this film is the absolutely stunning visuals. In recent memory, Last Black Man in San Francisco and the films of Paul Thomas Anderson are shot as intimately and gorgeous as this film.
