Excellent portrayal of one of the poorest regions of central Europe and also the challenges of having a speech impediment. But the hero's condition is not the main focus, just a clever way of channeling the struggle of escaping our roots. Vilmányi Benett clearly put a lot of effort into this role and you really feel for his character. This movie makes you appreciate everything you have in life and will certainly leave a mark. Not an easy watch, no light moments, every second is completely focused on the problems at hand, almost claustrophobic. Highly recommended nevertheless, very well made movie.
