First, forget Juien Leclercq's SENTINELLE, back in 2021, where the main character could have something in common with the one here. Leclercq's film was a thriller, using clichés galore with OF COURSE some kind of NIKITA like female lead. For the rest, this film is the only real document, as a movie - about Force Sentinelle - Vigipirate - mission. It explains and shows many things from the inside, the daily issues and burden of those soldiers whom we see on patrol in Paris or any big city streets. Soldiers about whom we can wonder what is exactly their mission? They can not interfere if they see any dude molesting his dame, they can not interfere with dealers because it is police business. They can't do anything against pickpockets just in front of their nose..And remember the Bataclan killings in Paris of November 2015, where they waited for the orders from their hierarchy before doing something. It is not their fault, of course, only this bloody idiotic system. This movie is brilliant, awesome, more than a simple feature. Acting and directing excellent, riveting the most. A scheme of individuals, not only figures in the street, only here to reassure the common folk.
