Plavonia, Hail and Farewell

Tony and Margaret plan to cook up an investment scam for wealthy Plavonian, known as Mr Smith (Oskar Homolka.) He has found the American dream.

At a dinner reception, Margaret poses as a Countess with Tony as an International financier who is cooking up a big deal in Africa.

Mr Smith is all over royalty which pretty Elsa Idonescu (Barbara Bouchet) is all over Tony. It is a ruse as Tony finds himself kidnapped by a couple of central Europeans, Willie and Max.

They demand a ransom of $99,000. It can easily be split in three ways. Until then Tony is living a life of relative comfort.

Now all Tony has to do is get a message to Margaret and Timmy. Fortunately Tony can spot a winning hand.

All roads lead to Mr Smith and he just needs greed to grease the wheels of his African investment deal.

An enjoyable frivolous episode, even though it deals with kidnap and ransom. Elsa still manages to flirt with Tony even though he is her hostage.
