Dhanush’s new arrival in the theaters, Raayan, has been performing exceptionally well in the theaters and has already earned 114.53 crore worldwide, surpassing Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja. The next target for Dhanush will be Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2’s 146.58 crore. As soon as he does that, he will touch an individual box office milestone.

Indian 2 is currently the highest-grossing Kollywood film of the year worldwide, with 146.58 crore. Dhanush might soon overtake this number and dethrone Kamal Haasan from #1 position, taking over as the Hgoty (Kollywood Worldwide). Interestingly, this will be 1st Hgoty of Dhanush’s career.

Raayan is also directed by and written by Dhanush. The film stars Sj Suryah, Prakash Raj, and others alongside the Raanjhana actor. The Tamil action-thriller is the second directorial by the superstar.

The said film is a trilingual with Kamal Haasan reprising the role of Balram Naidu from the film Dasavatharam which released in 2008. Starring with her father for the first time is also actress Shruti Haasan, who according to reports, will play an important role but the details of the same haven't been divulged. The film will simultaneously be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Stylish and substantial the narrative weaves and winds its way into coherent and compulsive threads that bring together the theme of international espionage with the more sensitive issue of the Islamic and the personal identity of a man whose heroic stature grows out of a sense of commitment to the country and to world peace .

On Sunday, Kanan was shooting for Zilla Ghaziabad at United Mills in Dadar when he complained of chest pain but he continued working. He suddenly fainted after some time. Everybody on the sets got really scared and worried. They called for an ambulance and took him to Hinduja hospital. A few tests were carried out in the hospital and he was discharged in some time.
