Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy left his mark on the comic book movie world when he played Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. The actor was set to return to the world of DC last year when he signed on to play Rick Flagg in Suicide Squad, but filming conflicts forced him to drop out and be replaced by Joel Kinnaman. Despite this setback, Hardy is eager to jump back into the world of comic book cinema, and he already has a character he wants to play: The Punisher. In an interview with Collider, it was pointed out that Warner Bros has a "few more" superhero movies coming out. Although it.s unclear whether he is aware that Punisher is a Marvel character rather than DC, Hardy mentioned that playing Frank Castle would be appealing to him, saying: I want The Punisher. I want The Punisher, or Splinter...

Our look back at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies continues with The Secret Of The Ooze, a sequel that raises the budget, and introduces Vanilla Ice…
As an ambitious young writer, I actually wrote an outline for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II. Unfortunately, it was never developed into a full script as I was unable to get it to anyone at the studio before Secret Of The Ooze was in production. I suspect that my difficulties in getting my outline read were due to a lack of Hollywood connections, something I attribute entirely to the fact that I was seven.
Truth be told, it may be for the best that my work stayed unseen by the rest of the world, as I wrote the outline before I’d had a chance to see the first film, starting my version where I assumed it left off – with Shredder helping Krang...

Director Michael D. Olmos is the 34-year old adopted son of activist and actor Edward James Olmos (Stand and Deliver). After graduating from Columbia University with degrees in Contemporary American Literature and Creative Writing, Michael mentored under filmmaker Robert M. Young (Alambrista!). Like father, like son, Michael’s debut feature film, Splinter, is a politically charged vision of a highly volatile world. Dreamer (Enrique Almeida) is just that, a dreamer; slowly regaining his consciousness and memory after being caught in the crossfire of his brother, Shaggy’s (Billy Garcia) murder. Dreamer is on a mission to reveal his brother’s killer, while attempting to continue his deceased brother’s mission to keep the peace between rival neighborhood gangs. Dreamer’s intention is in complete syncopation with a newly transplanted female detective, Gramm (Resmine Atis). Realizing that even their partner/family seem to operating in opposition to them, they try to help each other.
