It’s like “Predator” with Arnold Schwarzenegger, complete with heat-seeking “Predator”-cam, but instead of a killer alien hunter from outer space, it’s a killer car. Hopefully it wasn’t made in Detroit. God knows that industry doesn’t need anymore bad press. Starring Oded Fehr from “The Mummy” films, and directed by Frenchman Eric Valette, who once upon a time directed “Maléfique” and the remake of “One Missed Call”. I guess you could say his career isn’t exactly hitting on all cylinders. (See what I did there?) In tradition of such “car from Hell” films as Christine, The Car, and Maximum Overdrive, Super Hybrid has been dubbed “a fun monster movie” (Blueprint Review.) From the producer of Punisher: War Zones and the director of One Missed Call comes the next generation in killer car movies with Super Hybrid, a high-speed thriller pitting man against the ultimate driving massacre machine!

Released in France on November 25th 2009, "Une Affaire d'Etat" is a suspenseful, action-packed thriller in which three characters cross paths: a corrupt politician (André Dussolier), his henchman (Thierry Frémont), and a hard-boiled female cop (Rachida Brakni). Before you read the lead actress' interview, we'll start with the director, Eric Valette, maker of three other feature films. His first, "Maléfique", was a French production awarded by William Friedkin himself at the Gerardmer Fantastic Film Festival. The two others films were made in Hollywood: a remake of Takashi Miike's "One-Missed Call", released in the Us (unfortunately not the director's cut version) and "Hybrid" which involves a devilish car and another action queen (Shannon Beckner); there is still no release date scheduled for this film.
