      Lloyd Bridges' final film role. The film was released four months after his passing, and is dedicated to his memory. Bridges also starred in Meeting Daddy (2000), which was released two years after Mafia! (1998) but was filmed before the latter.
    • Goofs
      During the final epilogues of the main characters, Joey Cortinos text says he started an impotency clinic and has a website at "www.my stiffy.com". A web address can't have a space in it.

      The Eskimo solider, the only character seen walking during the wedding montage that didn't kill someone, enters a playroom where Barney the Dinosaur from Barney and Friends is watching an adult movie. The Eskimo pulls out his spear and kills Barney. Later in the credits, a caption informs us that a statue was built in his honor, and thousands of greatful parents visit it every year.

      The version of the movie syndicated to stations by Buena Vista Television eliminates all of the joke credits from the final credit roll, presumably to save time.

    Don Cortezone

    This film is a nice tribute to the late (great) Lloyd Bridges in his final role as the main Don Conrtino (he keeps mixing it up though) who must pass on his business (mob) to his son Tony (played hilariously by Jay Mohr). A great spoof as always coming from ZAZ man (A man actually) Jim Abrahams who casts Bridges for the 5th time. He also brings to the screen zany yet funny parodies of films (gnagster in general) including- GoodFellas, Casino, The Godfather Trilogy, Jaws, Jurassic Park 1 & 2, and countless others. Plenty of gags and two great performances save this film from plot destruction. One of the funniest spoofs ever. A+
