Blanca (Esperanza Roy) and Ramiro (José Luis López Vázquez) are a married couple who are always discussing just for the pleasure of reconciliation . One day Blanca crashes the car along the curvy road . She has a serious traffic accident , as Blanca is carried unconscious from the wreckage and then everything changes . While Hector (Pepe Rubio) results to be Ramiro's old buddy , he was also married to Blanca's sister, Rosa , before she died in a car accident , then he is attracted to her as she reminds him of his dead wife , Rosa . Later on , Ramiro has a desperate meeting with Fonseca (Valeriano Andrés) , could Blanca's soul have gone into the maid Mónica, and Rosa's soul into Blanca? .After one of her daily marital discussions, Blanca leaves him with the servant (Josele Román) on the road to Algeciras . Then Ramiro realizes he needs to make Blanca have another accident in order to get things back to normal. A car chase results in Héctor held at gunpoint and Blanca unconscious (again!) after the car hits a tree . They loved and hated each other alike ... It was a fifteen-round marriage!
¨Blanca por fuera y Rosa por dentro (1971)¨ premiered onstage in 1943 and became a fairly well known production at the time . This film takes a lot of liberties , but keeps the central premise from Enrique Jardiel Poncela play and script written by Luis Blain and director Lazaga himself , in which a an unconventional marriage formed by hot-headed woman becomes possessed by her sweet and innocent dead sister when she has an accident at the same exact location . However , the play is pretty different with much of taking place on a train , the film adapts it as well as can be expected. Trio of excellent protagonists are pretty well , as José Luis López Vázquez as Ramiro Peláez who argues continuously for the mere pleasure of subsequent reconciliation and Esperanza Roy as his beautiful wife Blanca ; the two bicker and fight constantly , while José ¨Pepe¨ Rubio is Héctor Villarreal , a novelist , and her brother-in-law , as Blanca had a sister, Rosa, who died in a car accident a few years ago , leaving Héctor Villarreal a widower . Then Blanca retaliates by going out with Héctor, who once fell in love with Blanca and was never able to overcome the loss of his wife . Here really standing out the great Jose Luis López Vázquez giving overacting a extreme geasticulation , as well as Esperanza Roy , she used to be such a hottie , and she delivers a top-notch interpretation as the tiring wife suffering an ambivalent psychic dystrophy . Agreeable and charming starring accompanied by a very good support cast with plenty of familar faces , such as : Josele Román as the peculiar maid who goes from being an amnesic to possessing a gifted memory, Valeriano Andrés , Rafael Alonso , Maria Paz Pondal , Margot Cottens , Santiago Ontañón , Lone Fleming and the indispensable Manuel Alexandre.
It displays a colorful and appropriate cinematography by Manuel Rojas . Equally , an evocative and lively musical score by Antón Garcia Abril , including some catching songs by famous singer Jaime Morey . The motion picture was professionally directed by Pedro Lazaga , though it has some ups and downs . Pedro Lazaga was born on October 3, 1918 in Valls, Tarragona , Catalonia , and deceased in 1979 . He was a director and writer, known for Los Chicos Del Preu (1967), and his notorious films about Spanish Civil war and Francoist period as Cuerda De Presos (1956) , El Frente Infinito , La Fiel Infantería and Posición Avanzada (1966). Being specially known for his comedies as Abuelo Made in Spain , Las Secretarias , Abominable Hombre De Costa Del Sol , La Pandilla De Los Once , Trampa Para Catalina , Martes Y Trece , Trio De Damas and many others . His most known films were with the popular comic player Paco Martinez Soria , such as : Old made in Spain, , Padre De La Criatura , Alegre Divorciado , Estoy Hecho Un Chaval , Vaya Par Gemelos, among others . Rating : 5.5/10 . Passable and acceptable Spanish comedy .
