The mailed bottle was dropped in the Stockholm Archipelago, (i.e. in the Baltic sea), but it was found upstream in Riddarfjärden in Lake Mälar, by the Riddarholmen quay.
The latitude and longitude shown in a close-up of the bottled letter, when someone is holding it in the closing scenes, are not real and do not point neither somewhere within the Stockholm archipelago nor anywhere else.
