Many motifs to admire it. From story about seduction, richness and lust to the beautiful performance of Medea de Novara. It is a film of its time and a real ambitious Mexican cinematography project, with great results. Because it is the birth of a saint . Without pathetic tools, using old fashion sentimentality and an interesting perspective about well known facts. Portrait of one of the most powerful and , in too many cases, imagined figure of the New Testament, in essence the film is an admirable fresco of fundamental change of the life and the work of Medea de Novara is , especially for the expressions of face and body, the great point . And sure, the film remains another proof ofLuis Alcoriza to propose an inspired portrait of the Savior.
