- Tarzan: Zandra! Why Zandra leave now?
- Zandra: My place is in Pallandria!
- Tarzan: Zandra stay here!
- Zandra: No Tarzan.
- Tarzan: Tarzan say yes!
- Zandra: I must return to help my people!
- Tarzan: Come back till Nazis go away!
- Zandra: They will never go away! I must go!
- Tarzan: Zandra very stubborn! Tarzan know best. Come, please.
- Boy: [Observing Zandra sleeping in Tarzan's bed] But, Tarzan! Where are you gonna sleep?
- Tarzan: Boy, come!
- Boy: [Tarzan goes in his room, looks at his bed] But that's my bed!
- Tarzan: Boy bed, Cheeta bed, Tarzan bed!
- [Tarzan lies down, so does Cheeta and Boy]
- Tarzan: Good thing elephant sleep in corral!
- [Tarzan laughs]
- Boy: [reading Jane's letter] I must tell you, the world is at war again.
- Tarzan: Why men have to kill each other?
- Boy: [reading Jane's letter] Once more, the Germans - Nazis, they call them now - are on the prowl. More ruthless than the most savage beast of the jungle.
- [to Tarzan]
- Boy: I bet you could kill those Nazis, Tarzan. Just like you killed Bowgat, the gorilla.
- Tarzan: No. Tarzan kill Bowgat to save Jane and Boy. Why Tarzan kill Nazis? No more war talk! When Jane come home?
- Boy: She said she can't come home until her mother's entirely recovered. It may be weeks. It's her duty, Tarzan.
- Tarzan: Tarzan know. Read more.
- Boy: [reading Jane's letter] Goodbye, my own darlings. I long for you so very, very much. More than words can say. All my love always, Jane.
- [hands Tarzan the letter]
- Boy: That's all, Tarzan. It's lonesome without her.
- Tarzan: Lonesome. Boy sleep now! Think of Jane. Be there in dreams.
- [looks at Jane's letter]
- Tarzan: All my love. Always. Jane.
- Zandra: But you do not understand, Tarzan. The Nazis are your enemies, too. One hurt Boy, tried to shoot Cheeta.
- Tarzan: He dead now.
- Zandra: But the others!
- Tarzan: Others leave Boy and Tarzan alone, Tarzan leave them alone.
- Zandra: But they won't. And as long as they are here, Boy will never be safe.
- Tarzan: Tarzan stay, protect Boy like Jane say.
- Boy: Ah, Tarzan! You don't need to worry about me. I want you to go with Zandra and fight those Nazis!
- Tarzan: No!
- Boy: But Zandra saved my life!
- Tarzan: Tarzan save Zandra's life. Pay back. Tarzan swim now!
- [leaves]
- Boy: Don't worry, Zandra. He'll change his mind about helping you. Sure he will! Sometimes he's like that with Jane. But she knows how to get her way!
- Boy: Zandra cooked dinner for you!
- Tarzan: Looks good.
- [eats]
- Boy: How is it?
- Tarzan: Tastes good.
- Zandra: I'm glad you like my cooking.
- [Tarzan nods approvingly and Zandra and Boy wink at each other]
- Zandra: Would you like some more?
- Tarzan: More!
- [Zandra leaves to get more food]
- Boy: I'll bet Zandra will come over and cook for us often. After you've driven those Nazis away.
- Tarzan: [stops eating] So!
- Zandra: [re-enters] What's the matter?
- Tarzan: Zandra try to bribe Tarzan! No!
- Tarzan: [murmuring in his sleep] Come here, Boy! Boy!
- Zandra: Tarzan.
- Tarzan: [awakens] Zandra. Tarzan dream.
- Zandra: You had a terrible fall, and I gave you the jungle medicine to make you sleep. Just as you gave it to me.
- Tarzan: Now Tarzan remember! Nazis! Where Boy?
- Zandra: They took him away, Tarzan.
- Tarzan: Took away? Boy?
- [grabs knife]
- Tarzan: Now Tarzan make war!
- German Officer in Berlin: General Hoffman! We have contacted them!
- Gen. Hoffman in Berlin: I'll talk to them myself!
- [speaks into radio]
- Gen. Hoffman in Berlin: Come in, Colonel von Reichart. It's General Hoffman.
- [Cheeta "talk" into radio receiver, while Tarzan, Zandra and Boy laugh]
- Gen. Hoffman in Berlin: [to the German officer] Idiot! This is not von Reichart! It is the Führer!
- Gen. Hoffman in Berlin, German Officer in Berlin: [gives Nazi salute] Heil Hitler!
- Lt. Reinhardt Schmidt: The perfect isolationist.
- Tarzan: Iso? Iso? What that?
- Lt. Reinhardt Schmidt: Oh, isolationist are people who are very self sufficient. They think they don't need the rest of the world.
- Tarzan: [Agrees wholeheartedly] Tarzan!
- Captain Bausch: These are the good people that found me in the jungle. Oh, and I can highly recommend Zandra - as a nurse.
- Colonel von Reichart: You always were a lucky fellow,
- Colonel von Reichart: A new day has dawned, my dear. A new era! Accept it and you will share in it's glory. Reject it and - well, I am quite sure you are as intelligent as you are lovely.
- Colonel von Reichart: You, dear lady, if I were the ruler, you'd be my choice for it's future queen.
- Zandra: That's very gallant of you, Colonel.
- Colonel von Reichart: You are very fascinating, my dear.
- Colonel von Reichart: Idiot! All I want to know is about the radio. Without it, we'll rot here!
- German Sergeant: But, the diary says the jungle man has the radio - and he is worst than a wild beast.
- Colonel von Reichart: I'm exhausted, sir. I must have rest.
- German Sergeant: Soldiers of the Reich never rest.
- German Sergeant: [exhaustedly] Heil Hitler.
- Colonel von Reichart: Zandra, all I want is your friendship - and companionship. And if you'll give them to me, we'll share the glory of the new day together.
