The Italian characterizations are good

A one-reel offering by Lou Chaney, who plays the villain's part. Pauline Bush and Murdock McQuarrie are in the cast. The Italian characterizations are good and the settings in keeping. The story itself concerns the effort of the villain to sell the girl into White Slavery and is of a common type. The photography is fair. - The Moving Picture World, April 4, 1914
