• I feel like the writer of this movie has never observed human behavior before. These two characters are utterly alien. Somehow all of the cute, endearing jokes only divide them, and the repeated captivity situations don't really seem to phase them.

So much of this movie seems unnatural. Why is there an overnight guard at a failing theater? Why doesn't this theater conform to fire codes? How do these guys afford to live in L.A. without any professional income or personal success?

And do people in L.A. really talk in a non-stop string of cliches? Honestly, it was hard to listen to the dialogue.

There's just nothing relatable, nothing believable in the entire movie.
