Jenna Cosgrove is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer, with a love for all things genre. Represented by Circle of Confusion in the U.S., her features have placed and won in top tier contests, including the TrackingB screenplay contest and the Austin Film Festival.
As a director, Jenna has led numerous shorts, web series, and music videos, including Stream, a sci-fi thriller that premiered at the Academy Award-qualifying Flickerfest, and The Red Palace, which debuted at the Glasgow International Film Festival. Her sci-fi web series 2121, starring Gary Sweet, was funded by Screen Australia, has garnered over 1 million views online and was selected for Toronto WebFest and HollyShorts.
Jenna has also directed numerous branded content campaigns for global names like Hermes Paris, and the documentary series Masters at Work, which premiered on Virgin Australia, further broadening her directorial scope into commercial work.
Jenna has been funded by the ABC, VicScreen, and Screen Australia in various programs and projects. She has collaborated with some of Australia's top industry figures, including Emmy-winning producer Stephen Corvini (Safe Harbour). She was mentored by Tom Benedek, the screenwriter of the Oscar-winning Cocoon, and continues to work closely with respected industry professionals. She also serves as a judge for film and screenwriting competitions, and was part of the selection committee for Flickerfest and a reader for the Austin Film Festival.
Jenna's education includes an Advanced Diploma in Professional Screenwriting from RMIT, where she won the VicScreen award for Most Accomplished Graduating Student, and a certificate in Women's History from Harvard University.
