Maryam Campbell(1934-2011)
Maryam (nee Jazey) Campbell was born in Shaunovan Saskatchewan on April 13, 1934.
Her family moved to Kentville, Nova Scotia where Maryam was known to put on plays and sing opera to entertain her friends and family. She was the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival Queen in the early 1950's.
In 1956 she married John R. Campbell and they had 3 children.
In the late 1960's Maryam had her own radio show in Middleton Nova Scotia, but left that career after the birth of her only daughter.
