Arian Montgomery
- Actor
Arian Montgomery grew up in the heart of Munich, Germany, next to the famous Oktoberfest, together with his father (Oscar-winning filmmaker Tyron Montgomery), his mother (goldsmith Anne Gericke) and his elder sister (young actress Ava Montgomery).
Arian was discovered by Jelka Niebling/Gielnik, the talent agent of his sister and managing director of the casting agency Talent-Scout (Munich/Berlin). She noticed the lively blond boy when he picked up his sister from acting class.
Soon after, in 2013, at the age of four, Arian made his debut as an actor in the German TV movie "Beste Bescherung", with Petra Schmidt-Schaller playing his mother. A year later he was invited to also play in the sequel "Das Beste aller Leben".
In summer 2016, Arian spent seven weeks in the Dolomites shooting his first leading role in a feature film ("Three Peaks", directed by Jan Zabeil). To match his film mother, the French actress and Oscar-nominee Bérénice Bejo, Arian's hair and eyebrows were dyed brown for the movie.
In 2017, still with brown hair, he was also to be seen in an episode of Germany's most successful TV series "Der Bergdoktor".
