**Manuel Rafael Lozano** is an actor, producer, and entrepreneur. Born in Puerto Rico to a Mexican father and a Cuban mother, he didn't embark on his entertainment career until his forties. Before finding his passion in acting and producing, Manuel owned and operated successful music academies and worked in telecom software sales.
He is best known for his recurring role as Officer Tejada on *9-1-1* and has appeared in numerous other shows, including *Casa Grande*, *The Young and the Restless*, and *Criminal Minds*. Manuel frequently works in commercials and films, such as *Teen Wolf* and *Holiday In The Vineyards*.
His executive producer feature film debut, *Isabel's Garden*, a hopeful family drama, has already garnered significant recognition, having been selected for prestigious festivals like the Heartland Film Festival and the Newport Beach International Film Festival, and winning Best Narrative Feature at the Cordillera Film Festival. Scheduled for release in January 2025, *Isabel's Garden* was also selected by the Poppy Jasper Film Festival this year. Manuel co-produced the film with his wife, Kit Rich, who wrote and directed it.
An alumnus of UC Berkeley, Manuel lives in Santa Monica, CA, with Kit and their 11-year-old daughter, Iris.
