Nicolette Pearse is a Canadian-American actress best known for her recurring roles on Netflix's Kim's Convenience, the CW's Burden of Truth, and Hulu's Cardinal. She was born to a British mother & American father in Victoria, BC and raised with a large family near the ocean. Nicolette was captivated by books and stories from a young age; she later discovered a passion for acting while stealing hearts as the "Artful Dodger" in a school production of Oliver Twist.
Nicolette graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Politics, trained and competed in amateur boxing for a couple years, and then moved to Toronto to study acting. She has fought in boxing rings across the GTA, starred in films and TV shows across Canada and the US, and has expanded her creative pursuits through photography, visual art, and directing.
Nicolette's more recent work can be seen on the medical procedural Transplant (NBC), the raunchy holiday feature Let's Get Merried (VH1) and the comedy Maybe It's You (MarVista Entertainment). In 2024 audience's will be introduced to her as the highly skeptical and sexually fluid 'Jane Kinney' in Everything and the Universe, an upcoming romantic comedy from UK independent production company Shot of Tea.
