Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout Movie Review Rating:
Star Cast: Manoj Bajpayee, Prachi Desai, Parul Gulati, Sahil Vaid, Vaquar Shaikh, Ankit Bhardwaj, Dinker Sharma, Shruti Bapna, Surbhi Rohra
Director: Aban Bharucha Deohans
Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout Review Out ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
What’s Good: The procedural part of a crime investigation is deftly shown. This includes how the police correlate observation and thought with evidence and forensic angles. The performances are more than competent and there is a tangible atmosphere in most of the film. I also liked the unexpected turns that come at periodic intervals and the way the villain’s unrepentant character is presented.
What’s Bad: The script not only meanders in places but, more importantly, incorporates silly gaffes and flaws that could have been completely eliminated by some basic thinking. The post-climactic sequence where the cops are discussing the case jars...

April 2024 Ott Releases Has An Interesting LineUp Of Family Films ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Another month has arrived with fresh arrivals to change your palette completely. While the month of March offered comedy-drama like Sunflower 2 and Sara Ali Khan’s patriotic drama Ae Watan Mere Watan, it also offered dark comedy like Murder Mubarak and social commentary like Patna Shuklla. April 2024 recommends a totally new set of watchable content on Ott.
This month seems to be high on emotions and bonds, bringing more family dramas to the table than you asked for, but it seems like each one of them comes across as an intriguing watch.
There is already a lot of Hollywood content lined up, including Scoop, Rebel Moon: Part 2 The Scargiver, Parasyte The Grey and Crooks arriving on Ott. But if you are in a dilemma about What To Watch In April 2024 On Ott, then we definitely have you covered.

Foreword
Web series on streaming platforms have warranted a far more emotional investment both for actors in the cast and from the viewers who would try and get involved in the characters. Their sequels, however, are rarely as engrossing as the original first season of episodic developments. And for the same reason, I, for one, am a tad sceptical about watching successive seasons with as much enthusiasm as I am for the preceding ones. Unless it is ‘Made In Heaven’.
Made in Heaven Season 2
This series is a compelling watch and though there isn’t anything spectacularly novel about its storyline, the production values, immaculate writing and superb acting by the entire cast makes it riveting. It represents what present-day India is all about. Conservative on the one hand and modern in many ways with progressive mindsets of traditional people who face conflicting ideas to deal with at every step.

Actress Achint Kaur recalls how, back in the 90s when she started out as an actress, people would discourage youngsters from joining the glamour industry. "When I entered the entertainment industry, I was already married and had a kid who was two. Since I was offered a role, and I never tried to get into the business of entertainment, things were not planned. I told my family, and they were under the impression that everything was wrong with the glamour industry, so there was no encouragement. Nobody looked at it as just another profession. Even the idea of me, getting into the glamour and entertainment industry was 'wrong'," says Achint, who returns in the web series "Hey Prabhu! 2".
"I was asked why was I doing this because my life was set, I was married, had a child, what else did I need? Honestly, in my initial days I was actually very under-confident because of that,...

Mumbai, March 18 (Ians) Actor Rajat Barmecha returns as the protagonist in the upcoming second season of the web series "Hey Prabhu". He says adulting is a tough process but it helps youngsters build their personality.
Rajat, who shot to fame playing the lead role in Vikramaditya Motwane's 2010 film "Udaan", plays the titular Tarun Prabhu in "Hey Prabhu". Tarun makes mistakes but his friends and parents understand him.
"Every generation presents its own challenges and, clearly, millennials are no different. We've all heard our parents say, humne toh kabhi aise gul nahi khilaaye (we never did such things) or you come across peers who brag about their escapades with their partners, and all you do is listen. Adulting is tough -- (there are) problems with work, family, love, and roommates. It is a phase we all go through at some point in life. And I think it is okay to mess up.

"The Raikar Case" is a whodunit that makes its intention rather clear with the very first scene. The young scion of a powerful clan is out to commit suicide diving off a cliff. The fall is captured with melodramatic relish, in slow motion as the camera augments the impact with a top angle shot.
This one, you get the feeling right at the onset, will very much be a 'desi' mystery - not too heavy, but loaded with the vintage played-to-gallery burst of emotions.
As the seven-episode storyline unfolds, you realise that the hunch is not altogether misplaced. Series director Aditya Sarpotdar and his team of writers have obviously made extra efforts to balance schmaltz with suspense. It is almost as if they wanted to make a family soap opera that, by the way, is highlighted by a mysterious death.
