Ateesh Chattopadhyay graduated from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata in the year 2015. He received the 62nd National Film Award (Rajat Kamal) for Best Non-Feature Film Audiography for his work in the short film Tender is the Sight, which was also adjudged as the Best Non-Feature Film of the year.
