Legendary Hungarian director Béla Tarr will receive the Honorary Award from of the Academy President and Board at the European Film Awards on Dec. 9.

“With this award the European Film Academy wishes to pay special tribute to an outstanding director and a personality with a strong political voice, who is not only deeply respected by his colleagues but also celebrated by audiences worldwide,” the Academy said in a press release.

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, who is known for his work in films such as ‘Vicky Donor’, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, ‘Badhaai ho’ and ‘Andhadhun’, has once again collaborated with his friend and ‘Paani Da Rang’ composer Rochak Kohli for the new track ‘Raatan Kaaliyan’.

It’s a Punjabi-pop fusion number with its lyrics penned by Gurpreet Saini and Gautam Sharma. The composition is poignant and Ayushmann’s soulful vocals add a new dimension to the track. The music video of the song has been directed by Dar Gai.

Mumbai, June 26 (Ians) The song ‘Pasoori Nu’ from the upcoming Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ takes a romantic route unlike its original counterpart – the hit Pakistani song ‘Pasoori’ from Coke Studio season 14. While the original was crooned by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, the Indian version has been sung by Bollywood music superstar Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar. The song was released on Monday.

Ali and Shae’s ‘Pasoori’ revolves around themes of separation and heartbreak, the visuals of the song picturised on Kartik and Kiara take a lighter route and is showcased as another romantic track in the movies’s Ost.

Singer-composer Kshitij Tarey is set to release a new romantic Punjabi dance number that promises to cater to all.

Titled "Fan ho gaya", the song will be a foot-tapping one, Kshitij promises.

The singer, who made his mark with Bollywood numbers such as "Aye Khuda" and "Tose naina lage" has collaborated with lyricists Gurpreet Saini and Gautam G Sharma for his new song.

"'Fan ho gaya' is an romantic Punjabi dance number and the video has come out just as we wanted. We wanted to create something that everyone can enjoy, hence the song is devoid of any objectionable lyrics or visuals and that's something we were all clear about from the very start," said Kshitij, who has sung and composed the number.
