Originally from Brazil, Tatiana Hotere is a New Zealand actress, writer and producer for theatre and screen. Passionate about performing arts, her projects aim to inspire her audience through authentic and engaging storytelling.
Hotere's semi-autobiographical play Skin Hunger - debut as a playwright - opened to sold out seasons in Auckland across 2022 and 2023. It has earned several awards including Best Actress, Best Writer, Best Director and the PANNZ Pitch Award.
Other recent performance credits include the Netflix Series Surviving Summer, The Tender Trap by Greenstone TV, and the TV series Sky Tower by Rebels & Robots Productions
The first Latina actress to graduate from The Actor's Program and from OSA South Seas Film and TV School, Hotere also holds a diploma from NZ film Academy and a Master in Creative Writing from AUT. She also hosts and produces the podcast Crazy Grief.
