After graduating from drama school, Jamie got his first big break when he met director Tom Hooper and casting director Nina Gold while auditioning for 'Les Miserables' the movie and he was ultimately cast in the West End production as one of the leading roles, Marius.
Having relocated to the UK for the production, Jamie then secured a string of appearances in UK commercials, TV shows and films. before being cast as the major supporting role of Father Gomez in season 3 of HBO's 'His Dark Materials'. The Daily Telegraph described his performance as 'utterly magnetic'.
Jamie recently completed filming the lead of Romeo in the upcoming musical film VERONA alongside Rebel Wilson, Clara Ruugard, Jason Isaacs and Derek Jakobi.
Jamie was also signed to Warner/Parlophone as lead singer of the pop band Balcony. They supported Lewis Capaldi on tour in 2020, as well as Tones and I, and played over 20 festivals to critical acclaim.
