Joy McElveen is an actress, model, and producer based in Los Angeles. Originally from South Carolina, Joy has appeared in a wide variety of projects, ranging from feature
films, television productions to commercials and modeling.
Joy has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, of which she became a recurring featured act. In addition, she has guest starred on NCIS: Los Angeles, as well as a wide variety of well-received Television series, such as "Giants" and "Single Parents," among many others.
Ever since the start of her acting career in 2003, Joy went on to appear in content for high-profile brands such as McDonald's, Walmart, Verizon, and Disney, to name a few.
Joy decided to try her hand at producing, debuting with her short film "Hands to the Sky," directed by Kim Townes. The work was well-received, earning praise and critical accolades. These include an African Academy Award nomination as well as various domestic and international film festival awards.
