Exclusive: In a pre-emptive deal, Neon has acquired rights to Osgood Perkins’ (Longlegs) next genre movie Keeper, which will star Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor).
Neon will distribute in the U.S. and handle international sales rights to the film in Cannes, with Elevation Pictures set to distribute in Canada. Perkins directs from a screenplay written by Nick Lepard. Chris Ferguson and Jesse Savath of Oddfellows will produce.
Keeper follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.

WestEnd Films has boarded international sales on thriller Hollow In The Land, whose cast is led by Glee star Dianna Agron.
Writer-director Scooter Corkle’s feature debut follows a young woman who finds herself pushing the boundaries of the law as she attempts to uncover the truth about her brother’s involvement in a brutal murder.
Screen can also reveal the first still from the film [pictured], which co-stars Shawn Ashmore (X-Men: Days Of Future Past) and Rachelle Lefevre (The Twilight Series).

On the heels of recurring roles on “Fear the Walking Dead” and MTV’s “Awkward,” Jared Abrahamson has signed on to join Dianna Agron (“Glee”) in the indie drama “Hollow In the Land,” TheWrap has learned. Scooter Corkle will direct from his own screenplay. Marlaina Mah and Jesse Savath are producing the film, which will be executive produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Christopher Ferguson. Production recently started in British Columbia. Agron will play Alison, a young lesbian struggling with the fact that her father was recently sent to prison for murder. When her brother goes missing, she sets out to find him.
