Nicola Graham(I)
- Actress
- Writer
- Producer
Born and raised in Dallas, Nicola Graham graduated from Texas A&M University with a double-major in Management Information Systems and Finance. Nicola computer-consulted with Accenture before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams and has called it home ever since. Immediately upon arrival Nicola appeared on, and impressively won, Hollywood Squares and Wheel of Fortune to successfully begin her lifelong Bucket List check-offs.
Nicola has acted in numerous film, television, and new media projects; most recently in the movie "Gap Weekend," available on all streaming platforms. Nicola also stars in the sketch comedy series, "The #Hashtagged Show," which she co-created, produced, and wrote on Instagram: @HashtaggedGO. Nicola has also appeared in TLC's improv-outline formatted pilot, "Surviving The In-Laws," played a naughty version of Virgin Mary in "Good Satan," and worked out some past relationship issues with her semi-autobiographical character Ryan in "Sunday Brunch," a series she wrote and produced as well.
You may recognize Nicola's face as the "Sexually Oblivious Female" Internet meme. Taken from the short film "Sexually Oblivious," which she wrote, produced, and starred in, Nicola's character, Karen Shipley, has obliviously created a life of her own. Karen can now be found in her own short, "Sexually Oblivious Too: A Meme's Life," on "The #Hashtagged Show," and on numerous Reddit, Facebook and Instagram pages.
Nicola was also seen for years doing stand up around the LA area, performing in venues such as The Comedy Store, Flappers, Sal's Comedy Hole, Three Clubs, and Bar Lubitsch. She performed in the live sketch/stand-up show "Sex and the Witty" in Hollywood, which she co-wrote and produced.
Nicola's love of sports (go Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers, Aggies, and Stars!) and hosting have lead her to be a Fantasy Girl on the online show, "Fantasy Sports Girl" as well as being a six week contestant/correspondent on the Versus Channel's "Fanarchy." Nicola has yet to see how her real-life role as the Commish in her Fantasy Football league can parlay into a desk job at ESPN, but she hasn't given up hope.
