Johnny Massaro is a Brazilian actor and director graduated in Film and Audiovisual from Estácio de Sá University (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil). Massaro has played several roles in theatre, cinema and television, in which he had his debut in 2005. As a director, playwright and producer he participated in the Competitive Selection of 23rd Rio de Janeiro Int'l Film Festival and in the 15th Curta Taquary Festival with his third short film, 'Depois Quando' (Later When), winning the award for Best Direction and Photography at the 10th FESTCINE (Pinhais Film Festival). 'A Cozinha' (The Kitchen) will be his debut feature. Along his seventeen years of career as an actor, Massaro has been in more than 10 features, such as 'The Movie of my Life', co-starred by Vincent Cassel and directed by Selton Mello, and 'The First Fallen', by Rodrigo de Oliveira. On TV Globo, Massaro starred in several soap operas and series, such as 'Good Save the King', 'Hidden Truths', among many others.
