Based on the novel of the same name by Ramsey Campbell, and produced by Nadie es Perfecto with the participation of TVE and ICAA. Distributed in theaters by Sony Pictures only in Spain. It is currently available on Netflix worldwide and has accumulated over 2 million viewing hours (official data from Netflix as of late 2023).
In 2020, he directed three episodes for the reboot series "Boarding School, Las Cumbres" (thriller/supernatural horror/teen drama), produced by The Mediapro Studios and Buendía Estudios. It premiered on Amazon Prime Video in February 2021. In 2021 he directed 4 episodes more of its 2nd season.
That same year he filmed two episodes of the 2nd season of "Warrior Nun" (action/drama/fantasy), produced by Reality Distortion Field (Canada) and Fresco Films. It premiered on Netflix in November 2022 and garnered over 21 million viewing hours.
In April 2023, he premiered the 2nd season of "Welcome to Eden" on Netflix, produced by Brutal Media. He directed four episodes and co-directed a fifth. It premiered in April 2023, reaching the Top 2 global on Netflix. It accumulated over 104 million viewing hours, entering the top 100 of the most-viewed content in Netflix's history.
Denis Rovira is also the creator of the multi-award-winning fantasy short films "Angel", "Lazarus Taxon", and "El Grifo" which propelled his career by competing in festivals worldwide and receiving awards at the Elche Festival, Rhode Island (USA), Cans Galicia, TAC Award, Curtocircuito, C-FEM Murcia, and Aurora Mexico, among others.
