After nearly a month of speculation, General Hospital viewers finally know who will play Lulu Spencer.
Emme Rylan spoke about not being asked to return after her 2020 departure. Lulu was in a coma due to an injury when The Floating Rib exploded.
Several names were tossed around on Soap Twitter, but TVLine officially confirmed it.
Former All My Children fan favorite Alexa Havins will be the new Lulu on General Hospital.
ABC soap viewers will remember her as Babe Chandler, who was one-half of the supercouple with Jacob Young’s Jr Chandler.
She fits the bill, but will viewers accept her in the role after it’s being brought back four years later?
Lulu Spencer’s General Hospital storyline
Lulu is currently comatose at General Hospital following her transfer back to Port Charles from her long-term care facility.
Her liver is failing, and the search for Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) is on.

Grey’s Anatomy has broken many hearts over its 20 seasons (and counting), but it’s also angered fans with how certain characters were written off. Realistically, no one wants to see their favorite character leave a show, but if it’s handled the right way, a good departure allows the legacy of the character to remain untouched.
While there are many factors that go into planning and handling a character’s exit, the final product can be hit or miss. Here are what we consider to be the worst and most unnecessary exits from TV’s longest-running primetime medical drama.
10. April Kepner
While April’s (Sarah Drew) departure in season 14 could be considered a “happy ending” for the character, it was deeply unsatisfying for viewers. She had apparently been dating Matthew (Justin Bruening), who she left at the altar, for months and didn’t tell anyone. That itself is surprising but...

JoAnna Garcia Swisher can't wait for fans to see what "Sweet Magnolias" season three has in store. "I'm ready for it to come out. I know everyone else feels that same way," she recently told Popsugar, "and I actually know what happens, so I'm ready for everyone to enjoy it. It's just a great season."
Swisher plays Maddie Townsend on the show, which follows three best friends - Maddie, Helen Decatur (Heather Headley), and Dana Sue Sullivan (Brooke Elliott) - as they navigate relationships, teenage kids, and all of life's ups and downs. "I think that the dust is settling in Serenity, but there's still all of these incredible relationships and all this love," she said, adding that the season will look "a little bit deeper into our friendships and the Magnolias' friendships.

Sweet Magnolias is making a big change ahead of its return on Netflix.
Deadline broke the news this week that the role of Katie Townsend would be recast.
The publication revealed that Ella Grace Helton will take on the role for Sweet Magnolias Season 3 -- and beyond.
Helton takes over for departing star Bianca Berry Tarantino.
Scheduling conflicts triggered producers to make the move, with the departing star set to star opposite Natalie Portman on the Apple TV+ drama Lady in the Lake.
As previously reported, Netflix will welcome viewers back to Serenity on Thursday, July 20, with all ten episodes available on that date.
The streaming service has been switching things up recently, with several of its most popular series having their seasons divided into two parts.

There's a reason why Sarah Drew and Justin Bruening continue to do projects together. They simply never miss.
Their chemistry is out of this world and always so endearing to watch that it draws you in whenever they're onscreen together. Reindeer Games Homecoming is a prime example of this.
And Sarah Drew was as lovely as always, starring in, executive producing, and penning this heartfelt story of grief, love, and finding oneself.
Reindeer Games had many of the common staples for a classic Christmas film. We had the small-town heroine reconnecting with the hot-shot high school crush who went off and became famous.
We had those fun festivities and a great sense of community that was prominent thanks to the supporting characters. And some conflict and other things almost interfered with our couple finding their way back to one another and having their happily ever after.

Life in Serenity is looking anything but serene these days. Netflix on Friday released the official trailer for Sweet Magnolias‘ upcoming second season, and the ladies are drowning in drama — and margaritas, thankfully.
The two-minute preview of the new season offers a taste of what’s in store for Maddie, Dana Sue and Heather, including: Maddie growing closer to Cal, while still finding time to put Bill in his place (multitasking at its finest!); Dana Sue struggling to choose between Jeremy and Ronnie (a win-win if you ask us); and Helen coming to terms with her own feelings for Erik.

It's a great week to be a fan of Netflix's Sweet Magnolias.
We learned the show would premiere its second season on February 4, 2022 earlier this week, and now we have some photos.
Hooray, right?
Yes, the streamer released three photos, one for each main character, and they're our biggest glimpse at Sweet Magnolias Season 2 yet.
The best part of the trio of photos?
Our trio at the wheel of the show are all in happy places, likely meaning that there will be a lot of good things to come for them on the second season.
Now, you may also be wondering what's about to go down on the second season, and thankfully, Netflix has dropped a spoilery synopsis.
It reads as follows:
As Season 2 opens, Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue learn who is in the car.
But that's just the first of many surprises that come out of Prom Night...

There's nothing quite like a sister's love.
And one sister will go through hell and back to find her twin when she vanishes without a trace.
Lifetime brings all the palpable drama and thrills with Vanished: Searching for My Sister, which bolsters a stellar cast and is bound to have us glued to the screen with bated breath.
A Lifetime veteran is at the forefront of this one doing double duty, too.
Tatyana Ali stars as twin sisters Jada and Kayla, and the two could not be more different if they tried.
Jada is the twin who appears to have it all together. She's strong, independent, and has a stable office job. She's mild-mannered and doesn't appear to get into any sort of trouble.
However, the same cannot be said for Jade, a wild child. As a result, trouble seems to follow Jade wherever she goes, and that much is...
