Singer-songwriter Liam Gallagher expressed his wish about writing certain hit songs. The rocker admitted that he’s envious that he didn’t play a part in the guilty pleasure tracks ‘Crazy Frog’ and ‘Barbie Girl’.
He said that the ‘Birdie Song’ is another one that got away. Ahead of their recently announced tour, Liam and The Stone Roses’ John Squire joined Dave Berry on his ‘Absolute Radio Breakfast Show’, reports Mirror.co.uk.
But as well as discussing the album that the pair have been working on, they found time to talk about which song by another band or artiste they wish was theirs.
While John went for ‘Chestnut Mare’ by the Byrds or “any Beatles song” Liam had a longer and rather strange list of tunes he wanted to put his name to – and there were some surprise picks.

Noel Gallagher has offered his thoughts on the ongoing debate surrounding “nepo babies”.
The term is given to children of celebrities who are accused of getting a leg up in their respective industries due to nepotism, thanks to their famous or well-connected parents.
Gallagher, however, who has a daughter and two teenage sons, doesn’t think it’s the “worst thing”.
“It depends which way you look at it,” said Gallagher while chatting to Dave Berry on Absolute Radio Breakfast this morning (Tuesday 17 January).
“My daughter, she follows me around with a camera and she films me and all that. She did a film about the making of the album,” he explained.
“I guess you want to keep things close to home, but they have to be good at what they do. She’s good at what she does. She’s not just wandering around pointing a camera going ‘muhh...

Alan Partridge fans will be in for a treat this September, as Steve Coogan is recording a podcast in the guise of his hapless host for Audible. It’s been confirmed that subscribers will be able to access the complete series of From The Oasthouse via Audible from 3 September, as it will arrive in one big 18-part chunk.
According to the bumf, 20-minute-long episodes of From The Oasthouse will “introduce one of the nation’s best-loved broadcasters to a young, diverse and digitally-engaged audience. Without the BBC or North Norwich Digital’s editorial management breathing down his neck, this new podcast will give Partridge the opportunity to fully realise his creative vision, in the highest quality audio.”
You can listen to the first episode right now by demanding your Alexa-enabled device “read From the Oasthouse” – so give it a whirl, if you already have access to the Amazon tech.

Stereo Kicks' Casey Johnson has revealed his heart tattoo for Only the Young's Betsy-Blue English.
On tonight's (April 9) Celebrity Juice, Keith Lemon interrogates Johnson and fellow band member Jake Sims about their reported rivalry over English from their time competing on last year's X Factor.
Sims replies: "Well she saw me in Bermuda, and I had the shades on and was swimming, and she got quite high maintenance and was like, 'Get a tattoo for me, get a tattoo...'
"I wasn't stupid enough, but Casey actually got a blue tattoo for Betsy-Blue. That's not a joke! He'll probably show you actually."
When pressed on the issue by Lemon, Johnson explains: "Yeah, but she's my girlfriend so it's different - we're going out," before revealing a big heart tattoo on the inside of his wrist.
"It's a blue heart because her name's Betsy-Blue," he adds. "So it's a heart that's blue.

Kerry Katona's secret stash of sex toys will reportedly be shown to the nation on Keith Lemon's upcoming revamp of Through the Keyhole.
The Celebrity Juice star stumbled upon Katona's collection while snooping around her home in Surrey, according to audience members at a taping of the ITV show.
"At one point Keith pulls open a drawer and inside is a big sex toy and other kinky paraphernalia," an onlooker told The Sun.
"He makes a big meal out of it and the audience just fell to pieces laughing."
The source added that Through the Keyhole panellists Geri Halliwell, Carol Vorderman and Dave Berry couldn't "keep a straight face".
Other finds made by Lemon reportedly include an erotic book at Blur star Alex James's Oxfordshire farm and boxer Amir Khan's naughty collection of chocolate bars.
Lemon was confirmed as host of ITV's primetime revamp of Through the Keyhole in mid-January.

Last night saw the return of Celebrity Juice with the funniest man on TV, Keith Lemon, joined by his usual team captains, Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby, as well as guests Joe McElderry, Mark off of Towie, Rochelle from The Saturdays and Dave Berry. The Hoff even joins them through the aid of a Vt – that stands for video tape.
Celebrity Juice is genuinely the funniest show on TV and rarely disappoints as Keith lemon steals the show with his rude, crude and below the belt comedy. Last night saw Keith audition for Towie with a few four letter word rants that began mainly with the letter C. Keith also took Rochelle and Joe under his bed covers to undertake an activity that was harmless, but definitely could be misunderstood. The icing on last night’s dirty and disgusting cake was Keith Lemon explaining who out of The Saturdays he would shag,...
