How dare they accuse the gorgeous bride of copying another high-profile bride!
The day of the Royal Wedding Kate Middleton (who is now Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge), left everyone speechless when she stepped out in her gorgeous gown crafted by Sarah Burton by Alexander McQueen — but there was one viewer that wasn’t so pleased! Princess Isabella Orsini, goddaughter of Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi and wife to Belgian Prince Edouard de Ligne, was taken back by the striking similarities between her wedding dress from two years ago and the custom gown Kate wore when she walked down the isle.
While the dresses were definitely similar, Kate’s look seemed so in tune with her classic style — I don’t think she’s a copy cat at all! Regardless of whether or not you may agree, there’s no denying the fact that Sarah Burton will definitely take some heat over the similar dresses.

This weekend saw the elaborate religious wedding ceremony of Belgian royal Prince Edouard de Ligne de La Tremoille to Italian actress Isabella Orsini, several days after the pair married in a civil ceremony. The bride, now officially a princess, wore a Gerald Watelet gown complete with a diamond-and-aquamarine tiara as she released a dove at the end of the celebration. Her husband is a member of the royal House of Ligne, a line of Belgian nobility who trace their titles back to the Holy Roman Empire. No word if the bride's godfather, Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, was present at the ceremony.
