Former Nsync member Joey Fatone is returning to Broadway for the first time in two decades as part of the cast of & Juliet, the musical comedy “sequel” to Romeo and Juliet featuring the songs of Max Martin, the record producer and writer who just happened to have worked with Nsync way back when.
Fatone will play the role of Lance beginning January 21, 2025. He’ll play a limited 9-week engagement in & Juliet through March 16, 2025, taking over the role from Tony Award-winner (and original Broadway cast member) Paulo Szot.
“I’m excited that I’ll be joining the cast of & Juliet!,” Fatone said in a statement. “I can’t wait to get out there and sing Max Martin’s amazing songs – his hits have shaped so much of pop music. And yes, I know I’ll even be singing a couple of Backstreet Boys songs. Even though my loyalty remains with Nsync,...

The CW has canceled “4400” after one season.
A reboot of the 2004 USA Network and Sky One series “The 4400,” the science fiction drama was developed by Ariana Jackson.
In the series, 4400 overlooked, undervalued or otherwise marginalized people who vanished without a trace over the last hundred years are all returned in an instant. They haven’t aged a day and have no memory of what happened to them. As the government races to analyze the potential threat and contain the story, the 4400 themselves must grapple with the fact that they’ve been returned with a few upgrades, and the increasing likelihood that they were all brought back now for a specific reason.
Empathetic social worker (Joseph David-Jones) and a hardened community corrections officer (Ireon Roach) are called upon to deal with the refugees, including a lawyer and resilient young mother from the early aughts (Brittany Adebumola), her...

On 4400 Season 1 Episode 11, we had a wedding, a stabbing, and unexpected revelations about Manny and Claudette.
4400 continues to mirror current events -- not always gracefully, but with poignance and sincerity.
Manny is quite the stabby individual. Who could have guessed that when he stabbed Claudette to test her pain threshold, it was actually foreshadowing for him stabbing the Rev? It was honestly shocking.
Jharrel had me believing in Manny’s inherent goodness, but with the blinders so firmly on, he missed the warnings from Soraya and Claudette. Mind you, they were pretty vague about it all, but then how much do they really know about him? How much does anyone know about Manny?
What is he up to, and how much does he know? Is he even a 4400? Or is Zmt the substance that gives 4400 their powers? (And how closely will this...

Riverdale fans, have you been hoping that the CW drama would go ahead and lean all the way into supernatural horror? Your wish has been granted.
Season 6 kicks off this Tuesday (9/8c) with a special five-episode event dubbed “Rivervale,” where things in the idyllic small town are even weirder than usual and Jughead serves as a Twilight Zone-esque narrator. The writers “all love horror and horror movies,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa explains, “and obviously we’ve flirted with horror and things like that in the past, but mostly it’s been about crime and suspense and pulpy stuff. 4400's Khailah Johnson on Ladonna's Risky Move and the 'Great Advantage' of Her 'Awesome' Superpower
The 4400 may be one step closer to getting their lives back, and it’s all thanks to a rather ballsy choice by Ladonna Landry.
In this past Monday’s episode, flashbacks revealed that the seemingly superficial reality star is hiding intelligence and depth underneath her pretty exterior — and when Dhs didn’t make good on the deal they cut with her, Ladonna got smart: She leaked a video to Shanice’s daughter of the true conditions under which the 4400 are being held.

The Voice is back at the top of Monday primetime just a week after losing its streak to Dancing With The Stars and 9-1-1. Monday’s episode, which saw Ed Sheeran perform Mega Mentor duties, earned a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.91 million viewers. The latest episode was up two tenths in demo rating and approximately 11% in viewers from the previous.
When it comes to The Voice’s return to the top, it’s worth noting that the usual suspects of Monday primetime were somewhat out of sorts. NCIS on CBS, which has consistently topped Monday viewers in the past weeks, showed a repeat episode. Meanwhile, Fox saw a bit of a programming reshuffle as The Masked Singer filled 9-1-1′s normal place in the 9 p.m. hour.
Dancing with the Stars was the second-highest-rated program of the night and drew in 4.55 million viewers, down from last week.

When executives at CBS Studios decided to dust off the not-too-distant IP of “The 4400,” a four-season drama about a group of people who were plucked from different places and time periods and returned at once, it was good news for Ariana Jackson.
Jackson wasn’t the first producer to tackle such a project — a previous attempt at a reboot was made in 2018 by Taylor Elmore and Craig Sweeny. But as a fan, she knew the intricacies of the original series, which premiered in 2004 on USA Network. Jackson teamed with Anna Fricke, who previously successfully rebooted “Walker, Texas Ranger,” to propel her version forward.
The CW ordered “4400” straight to series in February. It bows Oct. 25, with Sunil Nayar joining Jackson to serve as co-showrunner.
They key to cracking their version of the story, Jackson tells Variety, was not to worry about whether the original already tackled a particular piece of story.
