Emily Teede, based in Sydney Australia, is a multifaceted actor who brings her passion for life to the screen, stage and in voice over.
Early on she gained a Degree in English, minoring in Acting and her early work history includes the Australian Military, Disney World and the Sydney 2000 Jamaican Olympic Team. After getting married and having children, Emily refocused onto her long-held passion for Acting.
These diverse experiences have all lead her to confident and enriched performances. Emily brought this finesse to lead roles in two sold out theatrical plays; "Good Grief", playing a woman through her life stages and "Jimmy & Maude", a double role portraying both a mother and her daughter, then was a storyteller in sold out feminist variety show "Tough Titties". Emily has also embodied many wonderful characters in numerous short films. The highlight was the short "Release" winning The People's Choice Award in The Very Short Film Festival. She's also appeared in a variety of TVC's and TV Series and several Feature Films, notably her supporting comedic role in the Feature "The Winner Takes It All".
Emily studies character development at Sydney Actors Association. She has also previously trained with coach Grant Thompson, CD Greg Apps and has completed a NIDA screen course. Emily has also reached the Global Finals in the World Monologue Games 2021/22 and winning a Bronze Medal in 2023.
Emily lives with her very supportive husband, their two rambunctious children and a Kelpie-cross dog named Ruby (Roundhouse-Killer-Of-Men).
