- An actor, writer composer and lyricist, Steve Rosen has worked consistently in both dramatic and comedic endeavors.
On film he has worked with directors Todd Solondz, Barry Levenson and Woody Allen among others.
On television he has had recurring roles on Law and Order: SVU, The Resident, The Bite, Nurse Jackie and Kings. He has also guest starred on Fleishman is in Trouble, Blue Bloods, The Equalizer, Psych and many others.
For his work in the theater he has been nominated for 5 Drama Desk Awards, 2 Lucille Lortel Awards, 2 Off-Broadway Alliance Awards and a Joseph Jefferson Award.
On Broadway, he originated the role of Sir Bedevere (and others) in the original cast of Monty Python's Spamalot, directed by Mike Nichols. He has also been seen on Broadway in Des McAnuff's productions of Aaron Sorkin's The Farnsworth Invention and Guys and Dolls.
As a co-composer, lyricist and book writer (with David Rossmer) he has penned the musicals: The Griswolds' Broadway Vacation and The Other Josh Cohen and the plays (with Gordon Greenberg) Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, Crime and Punishment: A Comedy, Ebenezer Scrooge's BIG San Diego Christmas Show, the book of the musical The Secret of My Success and the podcast Rolling Calls.
He also co-created the legendary Broadway variety show: Don't Quit Your Night Job, writing material for the likes of Zachary Levi, Sting, Sutton Foster, Huey Lewis, Ariana Grande and many others.

- Co-wrote with David Rossmer, the musical "The Other Josh Cohen" which appeared Off-Broadway in 2012 and garnered 6 Drama Desk Award nominations including 4 for Mr. Rosen (Best Book of a Musical, Best Score of a Musical, Best Lyrics, and Best Leading Actor). The show then played the Paper Mill Playhouse in 2014.
