Beth Frey

Beth is a multi-award-winning film and television Producer. The winner of an International Emmy®, a BAFTA®, Silver Lion, Venice Film Festival and Film Victoria's Greg Tepper Award amongst many others. Beth has produced over 60 hours of television including the award winning Nowhere Boys Series and feature film for Matchbox Pictures and the ABC. More recently she produced Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries, four telemovies for Every Cloud Productions, that premiered in Australia and Internationally in 2019. Nowhere Boys launched in 2015 and quickly became one of Australia's most successful children's shows and has been sold to over 200 territories around the world. It is Matchbox Pictures' most awarded title with 42 nominations, and 23 wins including a BAFTA® for Best International Live Action, an International Emmy® Kids Award, three Kidscreen Awards, a BANFF Rockie Award, an International Youth Jury Prize Prix Jeunesse, two TV Week Logies Awards and an AACTA. Other credits include - Features Dr Sarmast's Music School, finalist AACTA Award Best Feature Documentary and Rollerboy. Both films Finalists Foxtel Documentary Prize Sydney Film Festival; The action comedy The Long Lunch; TV drama Stranded, winner 3 AFI Awards; multi-award winning animation Mutt; short drama, A Telephone Call For Genevieve Snow winner Silver Lion Venice Film Festival; Factual series Next Stop Hollywood, You Exposed, Once Bitten and Podlove; and one-offs Embedded With The Murri Mob, Vietnam Nurses, amongst others. Beth has produced international co-productions including Australian/New Zealand production and AFI nominated documentary series Once Bitten and ATOM Award finalist Liquid Stone - Unlocking Gaudi's Secrets; UK/Australian co-production The ABC of Dance for Film series ABC and Channel4.
