Every now and then a movie comes along that feels like it is made for just me. A Life on the Farm ticks all of those boxes and is one of those films that I know if I talk about to any of my friends about they won’t quite understand what I’m talking about and why I am so enthusiastic about it. A Life on the Farm is definitely a movie you need to see to believe.
In simple terms, this found footage/documentary movie follows the life of farmer Charles Carson in the late 1990s, who often filmed and took photos of himself, his family and his animals. This footage was then edited by Charles and often hand-delivered to his neighbours so he could get their thoughts on the films he had made.

Adult Swim announced two more shows to its lineup, and if you're a fan of live action and Eric Andre, you're in luck! Mostly 4 Millenials is said to be a quarter hour program that, as its name states, is for Millenials and people who wish to know more about them. The series is created by Andre and Derrick Beckles (Totally For Teens, Hot Package) and it's described as a probing look at an "incredibly important generation of humans."
The network also announced a 30 minute special from comedian Jena Friedman who has worked on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, Vice, and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Using her feminist style and wit, Friedman takes a look at the culture of America and its impact on women.
No release date for either project, but I'm sure we'll know more soon!

Among the new shows set to air later this year are the previously announced "Rick and Morty," from "Community" creator Dan Harmon, a second "Robot Chicken" DC Comics Special and "Hot Package," a "live-action fictional Canadian entertainment news program" from Derrick Beckles ("TV Carnage"). Here's a look at the new programming, descriptions courtesy of Adult Swim (via Deadline): Rick And Morty Rick and Morty is about a genius inventor grandfather and his less than genius grandson, and the journeys in life they share. "The Eric Andre Show" has been renewed for a second season, Adult Swim announced Friday.
The off-kilter "talk show," featuring comedian Andre and disinterested co-host Hannibal Buress, will come back in October. Prior to the show's return, Andre and Buress will perform "The Eric Andre Show Live!" for two shows in California on July 16 and 20 in Los Angeles and San Diego, respectively.
They will be joined by Derrick Beckles of the upcoming Adult Swim show "Hot Package," which is described as "a live-action fictional Canadian entertainment news program in the vein of 'Entertainment Tonight,' 'Extra' or 'E! News.'"
Like "The Eric Andre Show," "Hot Ticket" will be produced by Abso Lutely, which is behind "Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!", "Comedy Bang! Bang!" and "Nathan For You."

What’s funnier than a couple of detectives? Well, I can name quite a few things funnier, but that’s probably because I’m not yet familiar with America’s sexiest billionaire detectives, Ashleigh and Amelia Dangerhole, who will be brought to life on Adult Swim’s new live action detective comedy, Hole to Hole. Watch your back, Archer.
Deadline had the news from Adult Swim when they officially greenlighted a pilot called Hole To Hole. The live-action comedy is co-created and executive produced by South Park alumna Pam Brady and Arden Myrin of MadTV. Myrin will also star in the project, which is being described as a parody of 1980s detective shows. You remember Hart To Hart, don’t you? Well, Google it and stop making me feel old!
Okay, okay, so Hart to Hart starred Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers as The Harts, a wealthy couple who moonlighted as amateur detectives.

Almost a year ago, we pined over the freakishly original, disorienting and bizarre trailer for Totally 4 Teens, a proposed series for [adult swim] that appropriated the zany format of a vintage Nickelodeon kid's show and then aspired to melt viewers' faces off. You may remember that we recently interviewed the show's creator and frizzy-haired host, Derrick Beckles, about his psychedelic workout tape and a music video he directed starring fresh-faced pal and fan Michael Cera. Well since that time, the last we heard about Totally 4 Teens was that [adult swim] didn't know what to do with it, and that other cable networks were interested. We love [adult swim] and practically inject Tim and Eric and Superjail into our morning cereal, but the idea that we would never see T4T (not to mention Neil Hamburger's filthy ode to Family Feud) on the infamous programming block put pollen in our manly eyes. I ...

Unless you've been living under a rock (and by "living under a rock" I mean "haven't checked a music blog") in the past 24 hours, then you've seen the very good, very weird video for Islands' "No You Don't." (If you haven't, scope it out at their official Web site.) It stars a rhinestone cape, nature and Michael Cera tripping really hard, all in the guise of a fake anti-drug PSA.
On Tuesday night (January 5), we caught up with Mr. Cera (looking decidedly different from when we last saw him) on the red carpet for the premiere of his latest flick "Youth In Revolt" and asked him about his foray into music videos.
"I'm friends with Nick [Diamonds], who's in the band, and I'm friends with Derrick Beckles, who directed the video," he explained. "They wanted to do a video together and asked me to be in it, and...
