Aníbal Vela(1896-1962)

Anibal was in his youth a great lover of lyrical song, soon solfeo study and went on to make tests as a singer in opera and zarzuela lyric companies, among his most famous premieres is the great creation of Simpson with La tabernera del puerto in 1936 in Barcelona, years after the end of the war, he was in the company of Elio Guzman, where he was singing the character again and again throughout Spain.
