"In Mma, anything can happen." Screen Media has debuted an official trailer for an Mma fight film titled Cagefighter (not to be confused with The Cage Fighter doc film), written and directed by Jesse Quinones. Another of these cliche fight movies where it's about a champ going up against a rival. Reiss Gibbons is the greatest champion to ever fight in a Legends cage. But when promoter Max Black pits him against wrestling superstar Randy Stone, Reiss finds himself in the toughest fight of his life. Starring Alex Montagnani (Pro Mma Fighter) as Reiss Gibbons, Jonathan Good aka Jon Moxley as his opponent Randy Stone, along with Gina Gershon, Chuck Liddell, Elijah Baker, Luke Rockhold, Jay Reso, and Georgia Bradner. The big twist in this is that it's a professional wrestler taking on a professional Mma fighter, but it's still the same anyway. Train hard and take him down. Here's...

Exclusive: Screen Media is ready to pack a punch with the forthcoming mixed martial arts action film Cagefighter. The company has acquired the U.S. rights to the pic written and directed by Jesse Quinones and has slated a day and date release for October 9.
The story follows Reiss Gibbons (Alex Montagnani) who is looking to take the throne as the greatest to ever step inside the Legends cage. Reiss has it all: five title defenses under his belt, his beautiful wife Ellie (Georgia Bradner), a ball-busting agent Reggie (Elijah Baker) who has hooked him up with endless sponsorships, and the support of coach and mentor Marcus (Chuck Liddell). Things take a turn when promoter Max Black (Gina Gershon) pits him toe-to-toe against pro wrestling superstar Randy Stone (Jon Moxley) in the company’s first-ever cross-promotional event — which can very well be the toughest fight of his life.

For Pride Month... A great moment in Oscar gayness
This week's Best Shot spotlight shines on an adorable miniature. Since June is Pride Month we're looking at Great Moments in Cinematic Gayness throughout the month. Great Moments in Oscar Gayness are rarer things and usually come with significant caveats. When they award actors for playing Lgbt characters it's literally only when they are straight and labelled "brave" for playing the character and the character is either dying or victimized in some way. Their ultimate Best Picture rejection of a universally acclaimed frontrunner in Brokeback Mountain (2005) left another stain on the Academy's rainbow colors.
But in Oscar's gay history, there is a beautiful moment that comes without so many uncomfortable footnotes.

During her speech at the Golden Globes, Jodie Foster revealed that she's gay, thanking her ex-girlfriend and Mel Gibson, telling the actor: "You know you saved me." Now many in the media are speculating that Gibson, who already has eight of his own children, may also be the father of Foster's two children, Charles (14) and Kit (12), who sat next to Gibson at the awards show (see below). NY Post took it one step further by reaching out to a genealogist to take a look at photos of Gibson, Foster and the two kids and provide his opinion on whether Gibson could be the father. "The kids look like [Gibson], but blonder," replied the genealogist. Part of the speculation came when Foster surprisingly defended Gibson after he made anti-Semitic remarks and threatened the life of his girlfriend. Meanwhile, others believe that Randy Stone, the openly gay producer and friend of Foster, is the father.

During the Golden Globes, Jodie Foster got on stage to accept the Cecil B DeMille award, thanking her girlfriend Cydney Bernard for being "one of the deepest loves of my life, my heroic co-parent, ex-partner in love." In the audience were Foster's two kids, Charles (14) and Kit (12). Sitting next to them was Bernard, who along with Foster, raised the two boys. Foster and Bernard split in 2008, but remain close. And Foster's Golden Globes speech showed how close, with many believing that it was the actress' way of confirming that she is gay. But after a quick glimpse at the two kids, many Golden Globe viewers went online searching for "Jodie Foster Sons," hoping to find any information about the boys. For years, it has been speculated that the father is the a publicly gay producer Randy Stone, who worked with Foster on "Little Man Tate" and who passed away from heart failure in 2007. Stone's mother,...

Jodie Foster allegedly plans to tell her sons who their father is when they turn 21. The Oscar-winning actress - who ended years of speculation by coming out as gay at Sunday night's (13.01.13) Golden Globe Awards - has never revealed the paternity of her beloved boys, Charles, 14, and 12-year-old Kit but the mother of the star's best friend claims she will do when they come of age. Reverend Beverly Bates - whose late son, Hollywood producer Randy Stone, is rumoured to be the boys' father - told MailOnline: 'Randy told me that Jodie said she'll tell the boys who their father is when they're 21. He said he could never tell me because Jodie was his best friend.

Here at MTV News, we've always been big Daniel Radcliffe fans, starting with the "Harry Potter" role that launched his superstardom and continuing with the successful acting career that has followed. However, recently, it is Radcliffe's more charitable efforts that have been drawing our warm regards.
Since 2009, the 21-year-old has been involved with nonprofit organization the Trevor Project, a suicide-prevention/ support group geared toward gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning teens. In recognition of Radcliffe's awareness-raising efforts, he will soon take a break from his "Potter" promoting and Broadway duties to be presented with the organization's Hero Award at the Trevor Live gala at Capitale in New York City on June 27.

Daniel Radcliffe will be honored by The Trevor Project, an anti-suicide/support group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gender teenagers, with their Hero Award at a ceremony in New York in June to recognize his work with the organization.
Daniel, who started working with the group two years ago, said, "It's fantastic. The fact that they think of what I've done by promoting awareness of the Trevor Project itself and the issues that it works to promote and help is a great honor. I think that out of everything that I've done so far in my career, I think this is absolutely one of the most important, if not the most important, thing that I'm associated with."
The "Harry Potter" star, who previously appeared in a public service announcement (PSA) for the Trevor Project's 24-hour help line, also paid tribute to the 160 volunteers and counselors at the facility. He said,...

Duchovny Turned Down X-Files
David Duchovny initially turned down a part in The X-Files because he'd promised a pal he'd star in his short film.
The actor admits he was broke when the job offer to play Fox Mulder in the hit sci-fi series was offered to him - but he felt he couldn't let his friend down.
Duchovny recalls, "I had another job - a two-day role or something - and I had promised the director that I would do this role. It conflicted with The X-Files... and I told my agents that I'm not gonna do The X-Files. I said, 'There's a lot of other shows like that that'll come along.'"
It was a chance call from the show's casting director Randy Stone that helped him change him mind - and become an overnight household name.
Duchovny adds, "He said to me, 'I've only said this to one other actor: If you take this job, you'll never have to work again. I said that to Woody Harrelson on Cheers.'"...
