Jake (Jacobus) Rose is a veteran producer and studio executive with over 30 years of industry experience. He heads Skylark Entertainment, a leading Development, Production, International Sales, and distribution company. Throughout his career, Jake has managed award-winning theatrical films and television series, bringing creative visions to life while overseeing large-scale teams across Development, Production, Post-Production, Finance, and Distribution.

Jake's extensive expertise spans across the U.S., Canada, and international markets, where he's recognized for his deep knowledge of global financing, international sales, tax incentive programs, and securing complex financing structures. This includes managing international territorial sales to meet both production and distribution goals. He has held prominent roles at top studios, including Head of Production for the French powerhouse Gaumont US division, EVP of Production at Skydance Media, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the young studio into an industry giant currently swallowing the Paramount / CBS empire, and Head of Production at Sony Pictures Television, where he oversaw a large slate of pilots, films, and hit series.

Jake has collaborated with top talent such as Ridley Scott, Jim Carrey, Jane Fonda, and Warren Beatty. He managed high-profile TV series including Jesse Stone starring Tom Selleck, Hatfields & McCoys with Kevin Costner, Grace and Frankie, Narcos: Mexico, El Presidente, and Altered Carbon.
