- Megna's Broadway success at age 7 in 1960's "All the Way Home" led to his being cast as 'Dill', the toothy young summer visitor, in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) with Gregory Peck. The character of 'Dill' was based on author Harper Lee's childhood friend, writer Truman Capote.
