His parents Sarah and Aaron Lazarus came to England from Poland, he was
one of 5 children, He had 3 brothers and a sister, Albert, Mick, Samuel
and Anne. He was married and had a Daughter, Elizabeth. who has two
children James and Laura. He and his brother Mick were in the Canadian
Mounted Police from 1927-30. They then returned to London, and he
started his acting career. His brother Mick was an extra in films.
