The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) says he will be wherever Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) lives. She and the Abbott family were touched when he made that statement, while a segment of the audience naturally became suspicious.
Devoted soap opera fans know that daytime veteran Cousins’ dual role, playing his deceased brother Martin Laurent, opened a door earlier this year. The brothers fell out a window in France while wearing the same clothes. Martin was said to have died while Alan lived.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is Traci Safe?
Speculating about a potential switch is wise, as evil twins are a staple in this genre. But if Martin did die in the fall, that doesn’t necessarily mean Traci is safe.
Being Martin’s brother, it’s possible that both men inherited genetic traits that included mental health issues. It won’t...

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is conflicted. Getting what she wants has yet to bring her joy.
Instead, the pressure has only increased inside Abbott-Chancellor. Instead, the angst of working with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is complex. Lily’s admission was unexpected. But she told Billy about her intention to return to work with her brother and cousin.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) circles Genoa City, Wisconsin. He let his plan to go after Billy be known. However, after learning about Victor’s intentions, Billy’s strategy is part of a revised long game.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Assumes Victory
Billy knows Victor is ruthless and vengeful. Partial proof includes the Moustache having him and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) arrested on their wedding day.
Hearing Victor tell Devon Winters (Bryton James) that he plans to seize Abbott-Chancellor didn’t bother Billy.

Christel Khalil is celebrating her 20th anniversary with The Young and the Restless as Lily Winters, the daughter of iconic supercouple Neil (the late Kristoff St. John) and Dru (Victoria Rowell). TV Insider chatted with the Daytime Emmy-winner about her years in Genoa City – starting with her debut as a teen to her pairing with Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby), playing mom to teenagers (!), and her current storyline that has Lily paired with Jason Thompson’s Billy Abbott. TV Weekly: Do you have memories of your first day? Christel Khalil: Yes. My first scene was with Victoria Rowell. I remember being nervous and wanting to do a good job. My first few years, it was about introducing the character. I was a kid. I wasn’t quite old enough to be a part of the teen storylines. Around 15 or 16, I did the chlamydia storyline with Greg Rikaart [Kevin Fisher]. It was...

There’s a shake-up in Genoa City: Daniel Goddard, who plays Cane Ashby on The Young and the Restless, is exiting the CBS daytime soap.
“It’s with a heavy [heart] that I share the news that I will no longer be part of the cast of The Young and the Restless,” Goddard wrote on Twitter Tuesday afternoon. “I’m as shocked & gutted as [you are]. Not all of the news coming out of the soap world these days is depressing. To wit: Genie Francis is finally on the set of The Young and the Restless!
EW obtained this exclusive first look of Francis, now playing Genevieve Atkinson — the mother of Ethan Cane Ashby — on the CBS sudser. For the uninitiated, that’s the yummy Daniel Goddard in the photo, who used to play Cane until he was shot dead outside of his dad’s wedding to Jill. Lately, he’s been levitating in and out of Genoa City as a freaking ghost, seen only by his widow Lily.
