Costume designer Michael Clancy, who worked on My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Ray Donovan, has died. No further details are currently available but Deadline will update this story accordingly.
His friend Naomi Wolff Lachter remembered Clancy and celebrated their friendship via Instagram with a collection of photos. She referred to him as “a true original” and a “brilliant artist.” Clancy and Lachter both worked on the 2010 series, Running Wilde.

Mailer’s son, John Buffalo Mailer, is creative director of Mtm, which is both producing and financing. Joining him are Martin Tuchman, the company’s executive producer, and Jennifer Gelfer, executive director.

The Staten Island-set story charts an aspiring actor’s bid for respectability as he and his friends stage Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, only for the FBI to mistake the production for a mafia front.
The film opened the 2014 Woodstock Film Festival and won the audience award for best narrative feature at the Boston International Film Festival.
The film will open in late October in Philadelphia and Providence, Rhode Island, before heading to New York in November.
