Rachel Brennock

Rachel Brennock is a trained actress, dancer and singer, also known by the stage name Rachel Fury. She attended the Barbara Speake Stage School from an early age going on to appear in a number of TV commercials, dramas and films including 'Horatio Knibbles' (1971), 'Anoop and the Elephant' (1972) and 'Robin Hood Junior' (1975) produced by the Children's Film Foundation.
Other works include the BBC's 'Long Voyage Out of War' (1971) directed by Robert Knights playing the daughter of Mike Pratt and Anne Stallybrass., 'The Darwin Adventure' (1972), and 'Away from It All' (1973). Rachel was cast again as the daughter of Anne Stallybrass in 'Henry Intervening' (1979).
Rachel toured live as a backup singer on the Pink Floyd 'Momentary Lapse of Reason' tour alongside Durga McBroom and Margaret Taylor, she is noted for the opening vocals in the 'Great Gig in the Sky' and performances in the music videos; Pink Floyd 'Delicate Sound of Thunder' (1989), Pink Floyd 'Live in Venice' (1989), 'Later Years' box set (2019), and the 'Delicate Sound of Thunder Remastered" (2020).
At the end of the Pink Floyd tour Rachel's father became terminally ill and she stepped back from the entertainment world to stay closer to her family. Today Rachel is a vegan and has a passionate long standing interest and concern for human rights and animal welfare rights.
