Father of Susanne Beck.

On 21 September 1974 Horst Beck died unexpectedly during the rehearsals for a television play in Hamburg. He was only 61 years old.

He already impersonated his first role in a movie in 1933 for "Reifende Jugend".

In the 60s he acted not only in movies but also for television.

He continued his career after World War II not only at the theater but also in movies and TV productions.

Besides his activity as an actor Horst Beck was also a dubbing actor.

The actor Horst Beck began his career at the theater in 1932 where he appeared at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm in Berlin for the first time. It followed a move to Hamburg where he remained active on stages for many years.
