He shared a fun memory related to a dance sequence in the film and joked about himself and his co-actors Nasiruddin Shah, Gulshan Grover, and Uday Chandra by calling everyone a “good dancer” except Mithun Chakraborty.

Though in reality it was just the opposite. He said: “Back then, during the ‘Hum Paanch’ shoot, there were about 1,000-1,500 dancers, and it was Boney Kapoor’s first film. Bollywood took to social media and mourned the demise of actor-director Rajiv Kapoor on Tuesday. Kapoor passed away aged 58, owing to cardiac arrest at a hospital near his Chembur residence.

"Chimpoo uncle you will be dearly missed," niece Karisma Kapoor shared on Instagram story.

Karisma younger sister, actress Kareen Kapoor Khan, shared a black and white family photograph and wrote, "Broken but strong."

Late Rishi Kapoor's wife and Rajiv's sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor shared a photograph of him on Instagram and wrote, "Rip" along with a folded hands emoji.

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar tweeted, "Mujhe abhi pata chala ki Raj Kapoor sahab ke chote bete, guni abhineta Rajiv Kapoor ka aaj swargwas hua. Sunke mujhe bahut dukh hua. Ishwar unki aatma ko shanti pradan kare yehi meri prarthana."

Mumbai, Nov 16 (Ians) Actress Ihana Dhillon is busy shooting for a Punjabi film. She says it feels like a big family on the set, of people working towards to create something wonderful.

Titled "Bhoot Uncle: Tussi Great Ho", the film also stars Raj Babbar, Jaya Prada and Gurpreet Ghuggi. Directed by Kc Bokadia, the film is currently being shot in various places across Punjab.

"It's a wonderful cast and we are having a great time shooting this film. Of course, all the precautions and protocols are in place and it feels like one big family working towards creating something wonderful," said Ihana.

"It's a great script. The humour is amazing and it's a complete family entertainer. Punjabi movies have gone far and wide off late and we are sure this movie will break boundaries and will reach out to a bigger audience," she added.

Every actor in this romp-com over-acts. And that includes veterans Dalip Tahil and the long-time-no-see Anita Raj playing the hero Prateik’s forever-argmentative parents.

Tahil gets to shut his jabbering wife long enough to sprout these words of wisdom on human relationships. “Love is not about conquest. It’s about letting go.”

The two heroes, Prateik and Siddhanth, talented and subtle otherwise, are shrill to the point of being annoying. But that could have something to do with the sketchy characters they play. On his late mother and veteran actress Smita Patil's 64th birth anniversary, her actor-son Prateik Babbar shared two photographs of his "gorgeous lady".

In one black and white photograph, Smita can be seen posing in a white furry dress.

Prateik captioned the image: "Happy birthday to my gorgeous lady."

The "Ekk Deewana Tha" actor shared a still of Smita from the song "Tohfa Kabool" from the 1983 movie "Ghungroo".

"'Do not breathe.. what people will think' -- smita patil (1955-1986) rest in power," he wrote alongside the image.

Smita appeared in over 80 Hindi, Marathi and Malayalam films in a career that spanned just over a decade. During her acting journey, she received two National Film Awards. She was the recipient of the Padma Shri in 1985.

The actress was married to actor Raj Babbar. She died on 13 December, 1986 at the age of 31 due to childbirth complications. Over 10 of her films were released after her death.
