Xiao Yu Er and Hua Wuque, twin sons of adventurer Jiang Feng and the slave girl Hua Yuenu, are separated at birth when their parents are killed. Xiao Yu'er, initially in the care of Jiang Feng's sworn brother Yan Nantian, was lost to the notorious Ten Villains, who raised the child and made him their disciple. Hua Wuque was raised in the secret Yi Hua Palace by his parents' enemy Yao Yue, who taught him martial arts with the evil intentions to make the twins kill each other. However, after surviving several adventures together, the two expert martial artists developed a friendship despite being unaware of their relationship and becoming entangled in several love triangles with women they met. The story's climax ensues as Yao Yue forces Hua Wuque to challenge Xiao Yu Er to a fight to the death.

Qian Long's mother returns to the palace from her religious pilgrimage and the Queen's action's become more ridiculous than ever. More trivial scenes than ever are added, only serving to give some with light humor. The concentration in the sequel is clearly on the love between couples. Two new important characters are also added--the border princess Hom Herng and her lover, Mon Don. Their conflict become an integral point in the sequel.

Chan Dai-Ha (Frankie Lam) sells Chinese desserts and falls in love with a wealthy girl named Gei Hao-Yee (Kenix Kwok). Each time Dai-Ha tries to help Hao-Yee, he does something wrong and angers her instead. One day, Hao-Yee and her servant falls down a hill and he saves them. Without thanking him, she shouts at him and mistakenly drinks the soup with ten magical beans in it. The magical beans make her pregnant. However due to a law in the town forbidding unmarried pregnancy, the villagers are angry and want her punished. Dai-Ha finds out and explains to the villagers that he is the father, causing a deferral of Hao-Yee's execution.

Set in the Qing Dynasty of China. Smart and tactful Wei Xiaobao chivalrously helps triad members against government army and than becomes a fake eunuch without castration. He meets and makes friends with the Young Emperor Kang Xi, and experiences plenty of funny and adventurous stories.
