- Cape Town Opera has adopted a policy of empowering previously disadvantaged artists by undertaking the training and development of South African singers and artists - white, colored and black ones. Following some of the extraordinary colored and black singers of Cape Town Opera we will not only show their life within the surrounding of the Cape Town Opera House. Their ordinary life is the main focus, when every evening after the show they go back home to the townships where they all still live - a balancing act between the glory on stage and the dangerous and poor everyday life in South Africa. We will watch them how they fight for a better living, and we will find out about their real dreams and hopes for the future of their country.
- "150 Jahre Wiener Weltausstellung / 150 Years Expo Vienna" is a cinematic journey back in time to the year 1873, when Vienna hosted the fifth and then largest World's Fair at the Prater grounds, transforming from an imperial residential city into a cosmopolitan metropolis. Never before or since has the metropolis on the Danube changed so much in such a short time. The whole world once met here: from the Japanese Tenno to the Shah of Persia to the King of Hawaii. Around 35 nations and 53,000 exhibitors showed their achievements on an area of around 2.3 million square meters. With this gigantic show, Vienna succeeded in asserting itself as the site of many international institutions as well as a meeting place.

The succeeded and soon everyone knew the Carsony Brothers! Their legendary one-armed handstand n a cane was a marvel to watch, and they counted among the best equilibristic artists of their time. This film draws on the treasure trove of photographs and filmed footage from the Carsonys private archive - shown exclusively for the first time. We will see breathtaking images of the one-armed handstand on a skyscraper ... and will also find out about their private lives and the tragedy that suddenly stopped their career.
