Refund eligibility
Refunds are available if:
- You didn't successfully complete the verification process within 3 days.
- We weren't able to verify your identity.
Refunds are not available if you cancel your subscription or violate our policies.
- If you cancel your subscription during your current billing cycle, you won’t be eligible for a refund.
- If you cancel your subscription after successfully completing the verification process, Meta won’t provide a refund for your current billing cycle.
- If you cancel your subscription and choose to immediately cancel your benefits, you won’t be eligible for a refund.
- If your account violates our Terms of Service, Instagram Terms of Use, Facebook Terms of Service, Facebook Community Standards, or Instagram Community Guidelines, you won’t be eligible for a refund.
Refund process
Your refund process will be based on where you purchased your subscription.
- If you purchased your subscription through Apple, Apple’s policies only allow you to request a refund through the Apple App Store.
- If you purchased your subscription through Google, Google’s policies only allow you to request a refund through the Google Play Store.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method used to purchase the subscription.
All refund requests are subject to approval and may take up to 60 days to complete, depending on your payment method and payment provider's refund terms.

Request a refund
Facebook mobile app (iPhone)If you purchased your subscription through Apple, you’ll need to request a refund through the Apple App Store.
Facebook mobile app (Android)If you purchased your subscription through Google, you’ll need to request a refund through the Google Play Store.
Facebook website (Desktop)To request a refund for your Meta Verified subscription on Facebook:
- Log into your verified Facebook account on a computer.
- Click
in the top right, then click Orders and payments.
- Click Activity in the left menu, then click the Meta Verified payment you want to request a refund for.
- Click Get help with this payment, then click Get a refund.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Instagram mobile app (iPhone)If you purchased your subscription through Apple, you’ll need to request a refund through the Apple App Store.
Instagram mobile app (Android)If you purchased your subscription through Google, you’ll need to request a refund through the Google Play Store.
